Our Story
The Origin of Iris
Our linguistic journeys began 22 years ago, when we met at university in Argentina, both drawn to languages and the power of communication.
For many years, we worked as ESL/EFL teachers. Valentina worked at a national university in Argentina teaching English for tourism professionals. Carolina moved to Rhode Island in the US and specialized in teaching ESL to immigrants and international students.
Our love for languages continued to grow. To carry our skills beyond classrooms, help messages travel across borders, and reach new audiences, we decided to deepen and expand our expertise. We both completed a professional translation course and earned master's degrees in audiovisual translation.
Inspired to embark on a new adventure together...
Iris was born.
